Description: Tools for ripping and handling CD+G karaoke discs and MP3+G files
 cdgtools is a suite of tools for handling CD+G karaoke discs and
 MP3+G files:
 .
  * cdgrip   - converts a cdrdao CD+G rip (TOC/BIN) into per-track
               MP3+G pairs, optionally naming tracks via CDDB/gnudb
  * cdg2bin  - converts MP3+G / OGG+G tracks (loose pairs or .zip /
               .tar.gz / .tar.bz2 archives) into a cdrdao-burnable
               BIN + TOC disc image
  * cdg2text - debugging tool that dumps a .cdg file as a textual
               representation of its CD+G commands
 .
 Upstream cdgtools 0.3.2 (2009) is Python 2 only; this package carries
 a Python 3 port. The upstream wxPython GUI (cdggui) is not shipped:
 it targets classic wxPython, which no longer exists on current
 distributions. The tools interoperate with cdrdao (disc rip/burn),
 lame (MP3 encode/decode) and oggdec from vorbis-tools (OGG decode).

Package: cdgtools-gui
Architecture: all
Depends: ${misc:Depends}, cdgtools (= ${source:Version}), python3-wxgtk4.0
Recommends: cdrdao, lame
Description: wxPython GUI frontend for cdgtools (cdggui)
 cdggui is a wxPython 4 (Phoenix) GUI for ripping CD+G karaoke discs
 to MP3+G: open a cdrdao TOC rip, optionally fetch track names from
 CDDB/gnudb, rename tracks, and encode single tracks or the whole
 disc to MP3+G pairs.
 .
 The original 2009 cdggui targets classic wxPython, which no longer
 exists on current distributions; the carried patch ports it to
 wxPython 4.
